There is so much (conflicting) information out there on what we should and shouldn’t be doing with our children that it can be really overwhelming for parents, especially when we are bombarded with it every day on social media.
So, let’s try keep it simple and get back to basics -
🍃 Get them outside as much as possible
📺 Less screen time, more green time
🤸🏽 Let them move.. a lot!
🍌 Eat a whole food, balanced diet
😴 Prioritise sleep
💛 Connect and play with them whenever possible
🐌 Slow down
🙏🏼 Accept and appreciate the child you have
🌟 Do more of what lights them up
🗣 Speak gently to them
🚢 You’re the captain of the ship and their confident leader, setting boundaries is necessary and okay
🤩 Have fun and love them

🧩 Keep things simple, less is more
🌱 Plenty of time outdoors
🏃🏼‍♀️ Lots of free, unrestricted movement
🗺 Allow safe exploration and adventure
🦶🏼 Encourage bare feet as much as possible and time playing on the floor
🪑 Avoid too much time sitting in one position
👶🏼 Try not to put them in to positions that they can’t get in to or out of by themselves
💦 🎨 Sensory play and fun .
